Modernization and Regulation of the Insurance Sector in Bosnia and Herzegovina

The recipient organizations were the Ministry of Finance of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina and Ministry of Finance of Republika Srpska. Dr Diana Wormuth from BICON was team leader for the project. She and other BICON representatives and members of the BICON network led seminars on insurance issues identifed in the inception period.

The project consisted of

Conformity analysis and strategic planning,
Drafting of EU compliant insurance legislation on the Entity and State level,
Support to the harmonization of legislation,
Institutional and human resource capacity-building
